Thanks for stopping by, we are Yanni & Tracia Tsakiris the owners of City Decks. We didn't set out on this jouney together planning on owning and running the coolest little company in Philadelphia it just kind of happened. Yanni is a craftsman and carpenter by trade rehabbing and restoring some of Philadelphia's most run down structures and giving them new life as single and multi-family homes throughout the City. Affected by the 2008 market crash Yanni set out to rebuild (pun intended) while still following his passion as a carpenter, but this time working directly with homeowners to bring their vision to reality.
We believe our little company and our work stands out for a few reasons, but the #1 reason is that we don't sub out our work. Ever. You sign a contract with us you will get me on the phone and Yanni on your project. We take it very seriously that you have invited us into your home and entrusted us to build you & your family an outdoor living space
that will bring you years and years of fun and memories.
Oh! You want to know a little more about us? Well, Yanni was born in Athens, Greece and his father was a furniture maker, the apple didn't fall far from that tree! Raised in Philly he knows this city like the back of his hand, he is self made and the hardest working person I know. Me. I'm a small town girl who ran off to the big city first San Francisco then The Big Apple and now Philadelphia where I met my sweetie & fell in love him and with Philly. So I hung up my stilleto's and traded in my doorman for some hiking boots, 3 dogs & an old church rectory we are renovating together! Want to learn more? Give us a call!
